Falaknuma Das is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film released on 31 May 2019 written and directed by Vishwaksen Naidu. The film is produced by Karate Raju, Cherlapally Sandeep Goud & Manoj Kumar Katokar under Vanmaye Creations in association with Vishwak Sen Cinemas, Terranova Pictures & Media9 Creative Works while Vivek Sagar scored music for this movie. The movie is presented by Suresh Babu,one of tollywood's most prestigious banner Suresh Productions.
Vishwaksen Naidu, Saloni Mishra, Harshita Gaur and Prashanthi Charuolingah played the lead roles along with Uttej, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. It is a Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam movie Angamaly Diaries.
The movie created a lot of buzz when teaser was launched in march with over 3 million views within a couple of weeks. The movie trailer was launched on 13th may by superstar Victory Venkatesh became viral on YouTube trending at number one on day one with more than a million views. The movie is expected to be released in over 250 screens in Telugu states on 31 May 2019. The censor board gave it an “A” rating for violence and language.
STORY
This is an interesting story about the undesirable outcome that awaits a man with uncontrollable aggression. Das (Vishwak Sen) is a young man from Falaknuma who lives with his mother and sister. He forms a gang with his childhood friends and their role models are Shankar Anna and Peg Pandu (Uttej). As they grow up, they grew fond of them looking up to them as their mentors. Meanwhile, Das and Tina, who is his childhood friend, get into a relationship.
