Netrikann (transl. The Third Eye) is an 2021 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film, a remake of the 2011 South Korean film Blind.[2] The film is directed by Milind Rau and produced by Vignesh Shivan under the banner of Rowdy Pictures. Kross Pictures, a multinational film and television production company and K.S. Mayilvaganan are co-producers. The digital premiere rights for the film were bought by Disney+ Hotstar.The film stars Nayanthara in the lead role along with Ajmal Ameer, Manikandan and Sharan Shakti in supporting roles.Durga (Nayanthara), a CBI officer loses both her younger brother Aditya and her eyesight in a road accident. However, she tries to rebuild her life with the help of her guide dog, Kanna. On a fateful night, Durga encounters a psycho criminal (Ajmal Ameer), which leads to a cat and mouse game between the duo. How she tracks down the criminal with the help of SI Manikandan (Manikandan) and a young man named Gautham (Sharan Shakti), forms the crux of the story.
