Oru Thekkan Thallu Case (trans. A Southern Brawl Case) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Sreejith N.Based on the acclaimed short story Ammini Pilla Vettu Case by G. R. Indugopan, the film stars Biju Menon, Padmapriya, Roshan Mathew, and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. Produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Sunil AK, and C V Sarathi, the onscreen adaptation is written by Rajesh Pinnadan. The film marked Padmapriya’s comeback to a Malayalam movie after a gap of five years. The film was released in September 2022
Ammini Pilla's wife, Rukmini, and Podiyan Pilla's lover, Vasanthi, are neighbors and close friends. Ammini Pilla is a highly respected person in the town. One night, when Podiyan Pilla visits Vasanthi for premarital sex, Ammini sees it happening on his land and slaps Podiyan. Infuriated by this, Podiyan Pilla, along with his friends, attacks Ammini Pilla. The attack yields Ammini Pilla to bed rest for a couple of months. He decides to teach Podiyan Pilla and his friends, a lesson for attempting at his life, in such a manner that society too will acknowledge. Podiyan Pilla and his friends' ego is hurt that Ammini did not file a case, but instead chose to handle things on his own. They are unsure about how to handle the crisis and try to find ways to make sure that they do not face Ammini's wrath.
